Kathleen Faulkner Brumley MOULTRIE Kathleen Faulkner Brumley, 84, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at UniHealth Magnolia Manor South. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Baker Funeral home with the Revs. Andy Cashwell and Stanley Norman officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mayo, Fla. Born June 7, 1928, in Mayo, Fla., Brumley was the daughter of the late James William Faulkner and the late Seay Padgett Faulkner. She was a bookkeeper for 23 years at X Bar Ranch in Okeechobee, Fla. She was a Farm Bureau member for 41 years, serving in various capacities including county chairman, director, president, vice president, district women's chairman and vice chairmen for women; PTA president, 4-H leader, Sunday School teacher, member of the Queen Mother Saddle Club, Cub Scout leader, Little League football, and member of the Florida Cattlewomen. She won awards for outstanding service to 4-H and for 20 years service to the Broward County Farm Bureau. Brumley was a volunteer at Colquitt Regional Medical Center as a Pink Lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reid "Frog" Brumley; a son, Mike Brumley; and three brothers, Donald Faulkner, Willard Faulkner and James Faulkner. Survivors include a son, Richard "Bill" Brumley and wife Linda of Edgewater, Fla.; a brother, Hal Faulkner of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three brothers-in-law, Jake Brumley, Tom Brumley of Oakland Park, Fla., and Knut Brumley; three sisters, Bama Norman and husband J.A. of Moultrie, Olive Jackson and husband Earnest of Perry, Fla., and Norma Harrod of Gettysburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Mark Brumley, Chris Brumley, Hannah Brumley and Adrian Brumley, all of Edgewater, Fla.; a great-grandchild, Jarsali Brumley of Edgewater, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
