Katie Lou Croft McCoy, 95, of Berlin, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at Agape Health & Rehab of Moultrie. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Norman and the Rev. Clyde Billingsley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Born Aug. 15, 1916, in Brooks County, she was the daughter of the late John Washington Croft and Aquila Croft. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Freewill Baptist faith. She also served on the city council of Berlin for eight years and was a member of the Berlin Woman's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bee McCoy; daughters, Linda Presley and Joann McCoy; brothers, Albert Croft, Ernest Croft and Mason Croft; and sisters, Lucette Scott, Dassie Griffin and Bonnie Griffin. Survivors include her son, Marcine McCoy and wife Delores of Douglasville, Ga.; daughters, Janette May and husband Horace of Berlin, Beth Redding and husband Stanley, Nancy Norman and husband Stanley, all of Moultrie and Susan Griffin and husband Larry of Leesburg, Ga.; a son-in-law, Darrell Presley of Hampton, Ga.; grandchildren, Deede Gable and husband Kirk, Tami Ward and husband Danny, Jeffery Presley and wife Kathy, Jeannie Smith and husband Jed, Jody Redding and wife Deidre, Eric Griffin and wife Courtney, Heath Norman, Todd McCoy and wife Susan, David May and wife Kim, Chris Presley and wife Michele, Lane McDuffie, Jason Griffin and wife Laura, Jeremy Norman and Sunny Norman; great-grandchildren, Kyle Gable and wife Bethany, Klint Gable, Blaine Gable and wife Ashley, Trent McCoy, Jessica McCoy, Sarah Ward, Ryan Ward, Rebekah Ward, Leah May, Meagan May, Jared May, Hudson May, Garrett May, Hannah Presley, Alyssa Presley, Amber Presley, Brandon Presley, Cade Presley, Rex Smith, Sam Smith, Mitchell McDuffie, Nicholas McDuffie, Brice Redding, Blake Redding, Charlie Griffin, Caroline Griffin and Emma Kate Griffin; and a great-great-grandchild, Adler Gable.
