Reverend Kenneth Clyde Baker,89, of Barwick, died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Pruitt Health Moultrie.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. David Bond officiating. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Rose Wood Cemetery in Barwick.
Mr. Baker was born on February 25, 1932, in Brooks County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Manor Iverson Baker and Bessie Rebecca Christian Baker.
He loved to coon hunt and fish. He loved his family and the love of his life, his wife of 70 years but most of all he loved The Lord. He was a pastor for 60 years pastoring at several churches in Georgia and Florida.
He is preceded in death by his 4 brothers, and 6 sisters; and son in law, Barney Barnhart.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife Betty Ann Underwood Baker of Barwick; daughters, Pamela Miller and husband Buck of Monticello, Florida, Lorraine Barnhart of Live Oak, Florida, Susan Tillman and husband Robbie of Moultrie, and Tina Hackney and husband Tim of Green Cove Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Greg Miller, Brian Miller and wife Lisa, Caitlin Edwards and husband Patrick, Ethan Edwards and wife Jasmine, Michael Cannon and wife April, Jason Cannon and wife Hillary, Kenny Croft and wife Stacey, Keenan Croft Tillman, Laura Croft and husband Clay, and Hallie Powell; step grandchildren, 4; numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
