Kenneth Gerald Colwell, age 91, of Berlin, died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Berlin Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Billingsley and Rev. Mark Stone officiating.
Born September 1, 1926, in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Kenneth Colwell and Nellie Arlene Anthony Colwell. He served in the U. S. Army in the 33rd Infantry Division during World War II and was General Manager with Lend Lease Truck Division. Flying was a passion and he was an awesome dad. He was a member of Berlin Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his only sister, Anne Colwell Yount.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Thomas Reyna Colwell of Berlin; daughters, Paige Colwell of Cumming, GA, Shannon Colwell New of Sale Creek, TN; step sons, Louis Reyna of Tampa, FL and Joshua M. Reyna of Hardeeville, SC; and 9 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Berlin Baptist Church or to Colquitt Regional Hospice in memory of Mr Colwell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
