Kermit Cole

NORMAN PARK - Kermit Cole, 74,died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at his residence. Services will be held Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Crews and the Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Cimmeron Frazier, Hunter Niblett,Wayne Denny, Rodney Hurst, Martin Hurst, J.W. Hurst, Freddy Thompkins, and Alan Grace.      Born on Feb. 7, 1942, in Tallapoosa, Ala, he was the son of the late John Thomas Cole and Core Lee Taylor Cole. He retired from Wells Aluminum and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Francis Moore and Ida Duckworth; and one brother Thomas Cole. Survivors include his wife, Margie Mullis Cole of Norman Park; sons,Wesley Jordan and wife Christina of Virginia; daughters Tammy Cole, and Priscilla Cole Giddens and husband PerryWestbrook, of Moultrie, and Christina Jordan Klopfenstein and husband Tony of Ty Ty; brothers, John R. Cole and wife Gail of Moultrie, Jimmy Joe Cole of Lakeland, Fla., Richard Marvin Cole and wife Linda of Florida, and Randall Cole of Dalton, Ga.; sisters,Sarah Lee Hill of Doles, Ga., and Irene Grace of Norman Park; grandchildren, Brooke Holt, Blake Giddens, Josh Jordan, Dylan Jordan, Heather Klopfenstein, Clair Klopfenstein, Gavin Klopfenstein, and Lauressa Jordan; great-grandchildren, Jayden Holt, Colton Holt, Aura Marcoux, and Harrison Marcoux. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 8, at the funeral home.
