Kyle Thomas Walker, 30, of Sparks, died Monday, January 1, 2024, in Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Ruis and Minister Tony Bruner officiating. Interment will follow at Kimball Church Cemetery in Anderson City. Donnie “DJ” Ward, Brandon “Brando” Ward, Jonathan “Jonboy” Harris, Steven Bruner, Mike “Deuce” Robison, and Will “Big Will” Welch will all serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on April 2, 1993, in Moultrie, Georgia, Kyle was the son of Mr. Samuel “Sambo” Thomas Walker and Ginger Dempsey Walker. Mr. Walker worked as a foreman supervisor for Pike Creek Turf and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his grandparents, Etheline “Big Mama” Dempsey and Neal “Papa Neal” Walker.
In addition to his parents, Sambo and Ginger Walker of Adel, he is survived by his beloved siblings, Keith Walker and wife Kimberly of Adel, Desiree Spires and husband Jamie of Sparks, and James “Buster” Walker of Doerun; grandmother, Faye Walker of Anderson City; nephews, James Spires, Joshua Spires, Kayson Walker, and Kolten Walker; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
