Larry Lamar Olliff, 71, of Berlin, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Mr. Tom Bishop and Mr. Donnie Grier officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery. Keon Caldwell, Curtis Akridge, Ron Meads, Jake Korpi, Michael Adderton, and Lance Simmons will all serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gage Olliff, Caleb Weldon, Johnathan Ary, Trey Grier, and Zach Grier.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church sanctuary.
Born on April 27, 1951, in Barwick, Georgia, he was the son of the late Julian Lanier Olliff and Frances Holden Olliff. He retired after many years of service from Miller Brewing Co. He also served in the United States Air Force, was a volunteer firefighter, and was of the Free Will Baptist faith.
Mr. Olliff is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Olliff of Berlin; children, Robert Olliff of Moultrie, Jessica Weldon and husband Daniel of Brooks Co., Genia Stripling and husband Brad, and Brandi Adderton and husband Michael, and Donnie Grier II and wife Katie, all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Alexis Weldon, Caleb Weldon, Sarah Weldon, Samuel Olliff, Kyleigh Olliff, Johnathan Ary, Josie Olliff, Mikayela Esquivel, Ashlee Holt, Doni Holt, Samantha Luna, Robert Olliff, Wyatt Olliff, Dylan Olliff, Candice Olliff, Camden Ash, Will Golding, Noah Golding, Kelsey Mock, Jonathan Korpi, Jada Grier, Michaela Simmons and husband Lance “Bubba,” Zachary Grier, Jenna Grier, and Trey Grier, III; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Julian Olliff of Perry, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will be gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Olliff, 726 Chapman Rd. Moultrie, Georgia 31788
