Leroy Mack Griffin

NORMAN PARK - Leroy Mack Griffin, 69, of Norman Park died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at his residence. Services will be Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Covey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Eugene Strickland, Scottie Strickland, Mark Terrell, Chris Tucker, Jamie Gray, and Jamie Spires. Born on Jan. 6, 1947, in Berlin, he was the son of the late Archie Griffin and Martha Exum Griffin. He was a welder and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Eugene Griffin, Curtis Griffin, Johnny Griffin, and Tommy Griffin; and one sister Carolyn Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Joyce Rice Griffin; son, Leroy Mack Griffin, Jr., of Sparks; daughter, Teresa Ann Griffin of Cordele; sisters, Myrtle Covey and husband Harold of Norman Park, and Ethel Spires of Crosland; and grandchildren, Alex, Jr., Alexis Nicole, Selina Marie Griffin, Alexis Leighann Griffin, and Jose Griffin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
