Lettie Arlene Thompson ALBANY Lettie Arlene Thompson, 87, of Albany, Ga., died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., today, Dec. 29, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Methodist Cemetery in Cook County with Kevin Thompson, Keith Thompson, Cleve Thompson, Allen Thompson, Wesley Mims and Frankie Bostic serving as pallbearers. Born Sept. 6, 1926, in Norman Park, she was the daughter of the late John Daniel Hamm and Leila Leonia Johnson Hamm. She was retired from Friedlander's Department Store and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huel Edward Thompson; a son, Gerald C. Thompson; three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include a son, Ronnie E. Thompson and wife Gail of Hahira, Ga.; daughters, Lynn Sue Crosby and husband Frank of Adel, Ga., and Diane Bateman Mitchell and husband Arnie of Albany, Ga.; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Conyer of Lake Park, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
