Libby Jean Trammell Kennedy

Libby Jean Trammell Kennedy, 89, of Moultrie, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 1, 2024. 

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Randall Kennedy officiating. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

Born on November 30, 1935, in Worth County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Trammell and Lydia Irene Jones Trammell. Ms. Kennedy worked at Riverside Manufacturing Company for over 15 years and was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Kennedy; two brothers; and five sisters. 

Ms. Kennedy is survived by her sons, Reverend Randall Kennedy and wife Sara of Moultrie, Timmy Kennedy and wife Kimmie of Tallahassee; daughters, Teresa Kelley of Valdosta, Lisa Kennedy of Moultrie, and Belinda Thomas of Moultrie; grandchildren, Eric Kennedy, Benji Kennedy, Blake Thomas, Cody Kennedy, Tyler Kelley, Dillon Kennedy, and Diego DuPrey; brother, Terry Joe Trammell; sister, Tommie Branch; several great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
