Lillie Pearl Whittington

Lillie Pearl Whittington, 80, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Ruis officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Church Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Danny Eubanks, Carl Eubanks, Roger Furney, Roy Furney, Dennis Eubanks, Matt Sasser, and Eric Howard. Born on August 6, 1937, in Worth Co., she was the daughter of the late William Wesley Bass and Della Parker Bass. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jerry Whittington; son, Ernest John Whittington; brothers, James Bass and J.W. Bass; and sisters, Ruby Allen, and Velma Moss. Survivors include her son, Raymond Dale Whittington of Moultrie; daughters, Mary Lou Whittington and Peggy Sue Whittington, both of Moultrie; grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Graves, Brenda Gail Dean, Ashley Marie Kistler and husband Grance, Sue Ann Childers, George Childers, and Kathrine Contreras and husband Fernando; 6 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Leroy Bass, of Tifton; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home
