Linda Ardell Stapp Rhodes MOULTRIE -Linda Ardell Stapp Rhodes, 68, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Unihealth Magnolia Manor South. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, April 26, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Robinson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Thomas Parrish. Burial will follow in Weeks Chapel Cemetery with Chris Robinson, Tim Wilson, Wade Hall, Shawn Sellers, Shane Sellers and Jason Bius serving as pallbearers. Born Aug. 10, 1945, in Madison, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Stapp and Ellen Turner Stapp. She was a seamstress at Riverside Manufacturing and she was a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McKinley Rhodes; a brother, Tommy Stapp; and a sister, Joan Cravey. Survivors include, daughters, Suzanne Rhodes Chastain and husband Garnett of Berlin and Martha Rhodes Hanson and husband Eddie of Albany, Ga.; a brother, Robert Stapp and wife Tammie of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Betty Stapp of Atlanta, Ga.; brother-in-law, Melvin Cravey of Fitzgerald, Ga.; grandchildren, Rachael Bryant and husband Christopher of Hartsfield, Ga., Rebecca Chastain and fiancé Brandon Summerlin of Moultrie and Melissa Hanson of Albany , Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Cason and Charlie Bryant, Chloe Reese, and Cadie Summerlin.
