Lissie P. Johns Hargraves MOULTRIE Lissie P. Johns Hargraves, 101, of Moultrie, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Park Regency of Moultrie. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, July 11, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Born Jan. 9, 1912, in Hickox, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Emery Arlington Johns and Serena Elizabeth Lee Johns. She was retired from Swift and Company and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Emerson Hargraves; sons, Donald E. Hargraves and James W. Hargraves; daughter, Betty H. Miakinkoff; and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, July 10, at the funeral home. "In the spirit of Granny's life she would like for everyone to be comfortable and wear their jeans," the grandchildren have asked. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
