Loyd Carol "L.C."Tillman, 77, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Magnolia Manor. Graveside services will be Thursday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Shane Ashley officiating. Born on March, 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Homer Bascom Tillman and Madis Idona Asbell Tillman. He was a forklift operator at Beadles Lumber Co., a U.S. Army veteran, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Aaron Tillman, Allen Tillman, and Jerry Tillman; and one sister, Liz Tillman. Survivors include his sons, Wendell Tillman and wife Rachel of Sylvester, ad Terry Tillman and wife Deana of Leesburg; daughters Belinda Spoone and husband Grady of Lauren, S.C., Wanda Ann Parker and Husband Earl of Warner Robins, and Sherry Tillman of Warner Robins; brothers, Herman Tillman of Newnan, Ga., Roger Tillman of Norman Park, and Steve Tillman and wife Marie of Waynesboro; sister, Brenda Williamson and Charles Holton of Plattville, Ala.; and grandchildren, Nicholas Tillman, Evan Tillman, Autumn Collins and husband Randy, Jesse Tillman and wife Nicky, Apryl Fancher and Husband Andy, Kyle Spoone, Ashley Spoone, Heather Parker, Anna Daniels and husband Tyler, Adam Spoone, and Sarah Spoone. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
