M.L. Pinion

M.L. Pinion, 80, of Norman Park, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Langdale Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Bro. Gary James officiating. Interment will be held at Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery. Alan Ponder, Michael Bachelor, Austin Gumm, David Faulk, Cody Crawford, and Trenton Crawford will serve as pallbearers.

Born on September 11, 1940 in Berrien Co, Georgia, he was the son of the late Marvin O. Pinion and Julia Mae Castleberry Pinion. He worked at Tiffany Mobile Home as a mobile home repairman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Passmore Pinion; daughter, Rhonda Pinion Kelley; brothers, Arthur Pinion, Charlie, Tommy, John, Harold, and Crandall; sisters, Joan Norman, Laverne Ponder, and Lilly Bryant

Mr. Pinion is survived by his daughter, Sherri Pinion- (Michael) of Coolidge; sisters, Rosa Ponder of Jacksonville, Fl, and June Burnham and husband Randall of Norman Park; grandchildren, Austin Gumm, Nikki Johnson, Kelli Johnson, Tracy Mitchell, Tasha Tillman, and Tiffany Tillman; great grandchildren, Emma Rose Gumm, Grace Isabella Moore, Trenton Crawford, Cody Crawford, Delyzsha Tillman, Rave Hooks, Jr., Allen Harris, Maggie Harris, Miranda Tillman, and John Ryan Tillman ,and a special place in his heart for Tammy Pate; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends that he considered family.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 on Monday, January 18, 2021
