MaLeah McKenzie Scarberry

MaLeah McKenzie Scarberry, 17, of Doerun, died on Friday, May 4, 2018. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 4pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Benji Rowland officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Casketbearers will be Auston Bratcher, Auston Watson, Jacob Scarberry, Edward Scarberry, Triston Scarberry, Logan Bratcher, William Cravey, Jackie Goddard, and Caleb Barbaree. Born on November 16, 2000, in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of Lloyd Junior Scarberry and Loretta Jean McGraw Scarberry. She was a junior at Colquitt Co High School and of the Episcopal faith. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thurman Laseter. Survivors include her father, Lloyd Junior Scarberry of Tifton; mother, Loretta Jean McGraw Scarberry and Able David Bratcher of Doerun; brothers, Auston Bratcher and Logan Bratcher; sister, Anna Kate Bratcher; grandparents, Kenny and Lucia Scarberry of Tifton, Iris Laseter of Doerun, Faye and Pete Massey of Tifton, and George and Susan Fagan of Sylvester; great grandparents, Kennith and Ruby Lee Scarberry of Tifton; special friend, Janena Barbaree of Orlando; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday May 7, 2018, from 2:30pm until the time of the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
