Marcus Kennedy Sr.

Marcus Kennedy, Sr., 66, of Pavo, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Mrs. Cathy Johnson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Enon Church Cemetery in Pavo, Georgia. Jeremy Benton, Tracy Bennett, Chad Stanfill, Tim Dean, Keith Dean, and Clark Stripling will serve as pallbearers.
A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Born on February 5, 1956, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charlie Orr Kennedy and Frieda Key Kennedy. He retired from Cone Machinery Company and was of the Baptist faith. In his free time, he loved to fish with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Janice Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jacqueline Bennett Kennedy of Pavo; sons, Robbie Kennedy and wife Michelle, and Kevin Kennedy and wife Jessica all of Pavo; sisters, Susan Benton, and Judy Stripling and husband Randy all of Pavo; grandchildren, Kristina Marie Kennedy, Leigha Kennedy, Charlie Kennedy, Tyler Winn, and Travis Winn.
