Ella Margaret Swords Cooper Bynum,81, of Moultrie, Georgia, died Friday, September 6, 2019 at Baptist Village of Waycross. Graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Leila Church Cemetery with Pastor Andy Croft officiating. Born on February 13, 1938, in Adel, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George Author Swords and Delma Martin Swords. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 1st husband W.K. Cooper Sr; daughters, Margaret Ann Rhodes, Jenny Leigh Cooper, Judy McKinnon; brother, Harry Lee Swords; sister in law, Shirley Swords; son in law, Steve Belcher. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Joseph Bynum of Moultrie; sons, W.K. Cooper Jr. and wife Linda of Patterson, William Cooper and wife Mary of Patterson, Tommy Cooper Sr. and wife Victoria of Blackshear; daughters, Delma Connell and husband Robert of Moultrie, Wanda Thompson and husband Ken of Cayman Island, Martha Belcher of Moultrie; brothers, Lewis Swords of Norman Park, George Swords and wife Shirley of Waycross, Bo Swords and wife Lynn of Tallahassee, Florida; son in laws, Mark McKinnon of Moultrie, Michael Rhodes of Moultrie; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Associations, Riverfront Park112 North Front Street Albany, GA 31707 Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
