Margaret Rentz

Margaret Ovada Norman Rentz, 94, of Moultrie, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Cobblestone. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Born on March 4, 1923, in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Willie Jeames Norman and Margaret Abigail Pitts Norman. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel "Sam" George Rentz; son, Samuel Carroll Rentz; brothers, Howard Hubert Norman, George Grady Norman, J.T. Norman, Allen Jeames Norman, and William Thomas Norman; and sisters, Anna Laura Norman, Sara Ella Eugenia Norman. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Gail Rentz Mason of Moultrie; grandchildren, Michael Shawn Pipkin and wife Mary of Moultrie, and Darby Chadwick "Chad" Pipkin and wife Debbie of Moultrie; great grandchildren, Brandon Michael Pipkin, Colby Ryan Pipkin and girlfriend Madison Russell, and Adam Reid Pipkin and girlfriend Lizzie Young and special niece, Marsa Herod.
