Belle Marie Vinson Forbes (PICTURE) MOULTRIE Belle Marie Vinson Forbes, 79, of Moultrie, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Phoebe Putney Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Keith Strickland, Larry Weldon, Bailey Dunn, Marc Vinson, Ray Vinson Jr. and Michael Vinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Massari and Colby Dunn. Born Dec. 1, 1933, in Homerville, Ga., she was the daughter of the late J.C. Powell. She was a retired seamstress with Riverside Mfg.and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William R. Vinson; a son, Stephen Randall Vinson; and a daughter, Evelyn Marie Vinson. Survivors include her second husband, Marvin Forbes of Moultrie; sons, William R. Vinson of Norman Park, and James C. Vinson, Ray Vinson, Kenneth Vinson and wife Renee, and Dean Cook and wife Stacy, all of Moultrie; daughters, Patricia West of Moultrie, Rebecca Weldon of Albany, Elizabeth Pacheco and husband Francisco of Moultrie and Shannon Green of Moultrie; brothers, Bobby Ray Powell of Phoenix City, Ala., and Ronald Edward Powell and wife Bonnie Faye of Duncanville, Texas; sister, Jackie Ann Pearsly of LaGrange, Ga.; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
