Mrs. Huber was born on June 27, 1927, in Moultrie, Georgia, where she was raised by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Walter Blasingame. She graduated from Moultrie High School in 1944 and attended Wesleyan College in Macon. On Oct. 30, 1948, she married her childhood sweetheart, Anton (Tony) Huber II. Active in several organizations, Mrs. Huber served as president of the Moultrie Service League and was a member and officer of the Colonial Dames.

Mrs. Huber was an active and dedicated member of Trinity Baptist Church where she raised her four children. She served in many roles at Trinity and was the pianist for more than 20 years. She shared her deep love for music with her family who she always put first.

Cheerful and curious, Mrs. Huber simply loved life - that she found in Moultrie, summers at the beach with family and friends, reading books, and as a whiz at card games, countless hours of bridge. She was fascinated by and found great joy in nature. An avid gardener known for her floral arrangements; she was a longtime member of the Morning Glory Garden Club.

She was grateful to be able to explore outstanding gardens across the country and in Mexico and the cultures of various countries on the Baltic Sea and The Mediterranean.

Mrs. Huber is survived by a large, loving family including Kathleen Elizabeth Huber and husband John Everett, son Anton (Tony) Huber III and wife Mary Beth; daughter Sally and husband Ozzie Hutson; daughter Mary Lyn (Missy) and husband Chuck Harrod; grandchildren: Anton Huber IV, Tindall Huber Forrester (Ken), Anna Wells Huber Nesbit (Emory), Catlin Huber Everett (Keely), Addie Hutson Hare (Max), Lauren Hutson, Sally Elizabeth Briggs, Mark Wheeler Briggs Jr. (Dana), Alex Harrod Hendrick (Clarke) and Rachel Harrod Lundberg (Adam); 11 great-grandchildren; nieces Martha Beard Payne (Billy), Barbara Beard, Elizabeth Daniel Clark (Steve) and Polly Daniel Parker; nephews Whit Daniel, Walter Daniel, and John Daniel.
