Marise Jean Hancock Norman MOULTRIE Marise Jean Hancock Norman, 79, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Sardis Cemetery. Elder Dwight Marshal will officiate. Pallbearers will be Larry Eldridge, Steven Warren, Jason Cook, Michael Casey, Parks Casey, John Nunes and Joey Norman. Mrs. Norman was born July 8, 1933, in Moultrie, to the late Harrison Hancock and Bertha Mae Casey Hancock. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener, and she was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include her husband, Herman Norman of Moultrie; one son, Robbie Gershom & wife Kristy of Moultrie; brothers, John Hancock and wife Gracie of San Antonio, Texas, and Roy Casey of Moultrie; grandchildren, Brittany Gershom of Athens, Ryan Wiggins & wife Nikki of Moultrie and Tyler Gershom and Taylor Griffin of Moultrie; and one great-grandchild, Colton Wiggins of Moultrie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elease Shupienus. Visitation will be 6-8 tuesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangement have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
