Marjorie C. Croft

Marjorie C. Croft, 85, of Columbus, GA formerly of Moultrie, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Covenant Woods Retirement Community, Columbus Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2021, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Croft officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
Mrs. Croft was born on February 28, 1936, in Nashville, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Tally Columbus Mathis and Maud Ella Devane Mathis. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lamar Croft and a son, Marvin Lamar Croft, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Kalvin Scott Croft(Annette) of St. Joe, Illinois and Steven Mark Croft(Sarah) of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren: Victoria Croft-Rashkow, Megan Targett, Erin Edwards, Lauren Parisi, Ben Croft from Illinois, Matthew Croft and Hannah Fowler from Georgia; as well as nine great-grand children; brother, Elwood Mathis of Orlando, Florida, sister, Emily Sue Smith of Moultrie, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wesley Chapel cemetery fund or St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
