Marjorie Cox Johnson

Marjorie Cox Johnson., 76, of Omega, passed away on Sunday January 22, 2017 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Salone J. Greene officiating. Interment will follow in Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton. Born May 2, 1940 in Sumner, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late K.G. Cox and Christine Watson Cox. She retired from K-Mart as a manager and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward Johnson of Omega; sons, Charles Faron Johnson and wife Moni of Omega and Don Johnson and wife Kim of Iron City; daughter, Penny Lynn Johnson of Crosland; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1pm-2pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
