Martha Holmes Brown,80, of Moultrie, died Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Pineview Baptist Church. Mrs. Brown’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Brown was born on October 18, 1940, in Sylvester, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ed Holmes and Edna Mae Burch Holmes.
She was a seamstress and was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Brown; sisters, Barbara Phelts and Juanice Booth; grandchild, Dustin Brown, and Rebecca Brown.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons, Buddy Brown and wife Beth of Norman Park, Hoppy Brown of Sylvester, Ivey Brown and wife Gwen of Moultrie, and Carl Brown and wife Lana of Norman park; daughters, Wanda Croft and husband Bill of Berlin, Brenda Yarbrough and Tim of Norman Park, Shirley Campbell and husband Ritchie of Moultrie, and Mary Drusko and husband Stephen of Norman Park; grandchildren, Chrystal and TJ Goodale of Tennessee, Dewey Young and Crystal Reese, Polly Judd, Aaron Young, Tim Yarbrough and wife Monica, Deidra Yarbrough, Donnie Lewis, Corey Jeffries, George Brown, Misty and husband T.J. Dusterdeick, Adam Bentley, Robbie and wife Jennifer Seigler, Kara Willoughby, Marc Willoughby, Damien Brown, Jennifer Roberts and husband Colby, Gabrielle Cannon, Trinity Williams, Samantha Brown, Stephen Blair, Stephanie Blair, Adriana Drusko, Schuyler “Rabbit” Drusko, Amber Brown, Carl “Lil Man” Brown, Jr., Robin Young, Hannah Ingram, Brandon Lafler, and Dalton Ingram; 25 greatgrandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Thomas Phelts of Sylvester.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
