Marvin Rudolph Paulk, 84, of Doerun, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Thursday September 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Purvis officiating. Casketbearers will be Charles Paulk, Lamar Paulk, Isaac Paulk, Victor Sullivan, and Keith Sullivan. Born on April 24, 1933 in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Marvin Edward Paulk and Lucile Ellerd Paulk. He was a machinist at Brock Candy Company where he retired. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dondru Paulk; daughter, Robin Paulk; brothers, Ralph Paulk, and Dolphus Paulk; and sisters, Beulah Paulk, and Tina Paulk. Survivors include her daughters, Lori Hiers of Moultrie, Melanie Paulk of Tampa, FLA., Julie Paulk Miller and husband Wallace; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Roy Paulk and wife Mae and Donald Paulk and wife Linda, both of Doerun; and sister, Janie Paulk Conger and husband Abe of Norman Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
