Mary Faye Whitley Duncan, 87, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at UniHealth Post Acute Care. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Collins Glenn and Charles I. Murphy officiating. Casketbearers will be Danny Moncrief, David Moncrief, Shane Smith, Tommy Smith, Stan Pittman and John Tillman. Born Nov. 17, 1924, in Ty Ty, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. Whitley and Bobbie Lea Gibbs Whitley. She was a retired sales clerk at Belk Hudson's and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She loved working in her flowers, family members said. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Odell Duncan, and five brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Tommy Duncan and wife Peggy, and Tony Duncan, all of Moultrie; a daughter, Beverly Allen and husband Wayne of Dothan, Ala.; grandchildren Ashley Allen and wife Mary Ann of Alabama, Chris Duncan of Augusta, Kellie Duncan Cross and husband Heath of Doerun, Stacey Duncan Cook and husband Dean of Moultrie, and Michael Duncan and wife Amber of Moultrie; great-grandchildren Mallory Allen, Hayden Duncan, Taylor Cross, Kendall Cross, Blayton Duncan, Julia Duncan, Stephanie Cook and David Cook.
