Mary Edwards

Mary Cannon Edwards, 75, of Pavo, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Archbold Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday Jan. 5, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Born Feb. 10, 1936, in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late William Elijah Cannon and Charlotte Plymel Cannon. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Edwards; sister, Grace Cannon Hortman; and brother-in-law, W. G. Hortman. Survivors include nephews, Danny Hortman and Van Hortman, both of Pavo; great-nieces, Lea Champion and husband Heath of Pavo and Lynn Darsey and husband Hal of Lakeland, Ga.; great-great-nieces and nephews, Carson, Gracie, Maggie, Hudson and Hayden Champion, all of Pavo and Cannon Darsey of Lakeland, Ga.
