Mary J. Tucker

Mary Janice "Jan" Ellis Tucker, 78, of Moultrie, died Friday, January 31, 2020 at Archbold Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born on August 14, 1941, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Paul Ellis, Sr. and Imo Gene Weaver Ellis. She was a mother, grandmother and a homemaker. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Janna Kate Tucker.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband, Wayne Tucker of Moultrie; sons, Joey Tucker and wife Rhonda of Moultrie and Jeff Tucker and Tammy Seaburg of Moultrie; grandchildren, Joel Tucker, Julia Tucker, Jake Tucker, Matthew Tucker and Walt Tucker; and brothers, Jack Ellis and wife Nina of Atwater, California and Joe Ellis of Franklin, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
