Mary Dianne Wright

Mary Dianne Wright, 71, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Born on February 5, 1953, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Wesley "D.W." Wright and Dorothy Lee Strawder Wright.

Dianne began her business career at an early age, excelling in various industries including retail, legal, finance, and transportation. Later, she made the decision to move to the family farm in Moultrie, where she worked alongside her brothers in the family business. She valued being close to her family and took great pride in her role as both a business owner and manager. Despite her professional commitments, Dianne always made time to travel and embrace life's adventures.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister, Doris Jean Wright.

Survivors include her daughter, Danielle Leigh Carver and husband, Adam Christianson Carver; her brothers, Douglas Wayne Wright, David Wesley Wright and wife, Melinda Ann, and Dustin Waylon Wright; her grandchildren, Ava Brooke Carver and Aiden Blake Carver; and her long-time companion of 27 years, James Lindsey Harrell; and numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
