Mattie Barbara Saunders Tabor, 76 of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Pruitt Health. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Crosland Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Crosland Baptist Church Cemetery. Casketbearers will be the Deacons of Crosland Baptist Church. Born on August 7, 1941, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Robert Bruce Saunders and Gertrude Ethel Morris Saunders. She was a nurse assistant at Brownwood Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Lee Tabor. Survivors include her daughters, Kayla Davidson and husband Al, and Janet Saunders and husband Steve, all of Crosland; grandchildren, Troy Davidson and wife Lilly of Norman Park, Joey Davidson and wife Samantha of Buford, South Carolina, Holly Taylor of Crosland, Jessica Rodriguez and husband Miguel of Crosland, Chase Saunders and wife Nidia of Crosland, and Laura Saunders of Crosland; 15 great grandchildren; and brother, Robert Bruce Saunders, Jr. and wife Mamie of Albany' and a special cousin, Allen Morris. The family will receive friends and family from 1pm-2pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Crosland Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
