Mattie Jo Harbin (photo) NORMAN PARK Mattie Jo Harbin, 68, of Norman Park, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at her residence. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Southside Baptist Church. The Rev. Ricky Purvis will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gary Bachelor, John Cantrell, Kenny Cantrell, Randall Prosser, Kenny Brewer and Scott Prosser. Mrs. Harbin was born June 21, 1946, in Moultrie, daughter of Jessie James Durrance & Mary Ann Harden Durrance. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harbin; and four sisters, Betty Jean Lamb, Deborah Palmer, Clara Gail Durrance and Joyce Nelms. Survivors include two sons, David Brumley & wife Tonia and Tim Harbin & wife Pam, all of Norman Park; a daughter, Shirley Brewer of Norman Park; two brothers, Bobby Durrance of Moultrie and James Durrance of Ray City; two sisters, Ann Bachelor of Jacksonville, Fla., and Carolyn Smith of Norman Park; grandchildren, Vicky Brumley, Nicky Brumley, Josh Brumley, Hunter Benton, Autumn Golden, Jaime Harbin, Mary Grace Harbin, J. T. Harbin, Kayleigh Harbin and Dorothy Brewer; and a great-grandchild, Alessa Kastelic. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 29, at the funeral home.
