Mattie Lou Weeks Kennedy

Mattie Lou Weeks Kennedy, 93, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. James Sutton, John Paul Sutton, Glenn Chafin, Blaine Walden, Michael Chafin, Douglas Weeks, Michael Baker and Jody Redding will serve as pallbearers. Great grandchildren will serve as Honorary pallbearers.
Born on August 6, 1925, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Paige and Thelma Flowers Keigans. She worked as a bookkeeper at Sutton System Sales and was a member of Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Kennedy; son in law, Jack Lindsey; brothers, Jonny Keigans, James Paige; sisters, Clara Giles, Clois Bridges; and grandson, Joe Lindsey.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Weeks of Norman Park; daughter, Brenda Lindsey of Norman Park; grandchildren, Chris Lindsey and wife Rachel of Norman Park, Andy Lindsey and wife Denise of Americus, Angela Moore and husband Scott of Norman Park; great grandchildren, Bruce, Matt, Mark, Ansleigh, Kyndle, Brittany, Raney, Lauren, Alex, John and Ran; 14 great-great grandchildren; and special niece Judy Jones.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
