Mattie Marie Hamilton Rowe MOULTRIE Mattie Marie Hamilton Rowe, 82, of Moultrie, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at PruittHealth-Magnolia Manor South. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at Oakdale Cemetery with Tequilla Little officiating. Born Dec. 14, 1931, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Lee Hamilton and Nora Lee Roberts Hamilton. She was a registered nurse and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Olen Rowe; a son, Ivey Rowe; a daughter, Patsy Rowe; a brother, Marvin "Buddy" Hamilton II; sisters, Latrell Wilson and Dorothy Tolbert; and grandsons Little Lester and Little Ray. Survivors include her daughters, Virginia Newsom of Moultrie and Nora Weeks and husband Roy of Norman Park; brother, Frankie Hamilton and wife Gloria of Norman Park; sisters, Shirley Conger and husband Jessie of Norman Park and Fran Jacobs of Norman Park; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m., on Saturday, in the funeral home chapel. Baker Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
