Max Henry Wilson, 81, of Moultrie, died Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Autreyville Baptist Church with Rev. Robert McCoy and Rev. Neil Hosey officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born on February 26, 1937, in Walker County, he was the son of the late Edgar Dillmus and Vennie Lee Partain Wilson. He was the owner of Coastal Plains Trucking and was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Wilson and sisters, Barbara Kinsey, Doris Horst, Sue Hepting and Carolyn Calvert, brother, Bryan Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Rogers Wilson of Moultrie; daughter, Alana Wilson McCoy and husband Richie of Moultrie; step-daughter, Donna Collum and husband Rick of Moultrie; step-son, Doug Rogers and wife Nan of Thomasville; grandchildren, Wilson Davis, Jared Collum, Danielle Collum, Cole Rogers, Cameren Rogers, Brock McCoy; special niece, Belinda Wilson Griffin of Tifton.
Visitation will be from 6-8 Sunday July 29, 2018 at the funeral home.
