Melissa Hope Cox King, 39, of Moultrie, Georgia died at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 31. 2021 at Reed Bingham State Park, Shelter 1 location and on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Menard-May Park in Edgewater, Florida.
Born on July 29, 1981 in New Smyrna Beach Florida, she is the daughter of Thomas Elmer King, Jr. and wife Linda and Sheila Ford King Horn and husband Steve. Ms. King was the owner and operator of Meme’s Clean Sweep.
In addition to her mother and father, Ms. King is survived by her husband, Richard Cox of Moultrie; sisters Mae Elizabeth Anderson and husband Malcolm III, Amber King; brothers Michael Ford, Thomas King III, Austin King, Aaron King, Matthew Quigley and wife Emily, Colin Quigley; sister-in-law Samantha Doile; several nieces and nephews.
She is remembered by family as being a true, pure, selfless human with the best heart they have ever known. She will be truly missed by all.
