Melissa Kay Davis MOULTRIE Melissa Kay Davis, 38, of Moultrie, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Billy Cleveland Hobgood Jr., Matthew Adam Hobgood, Johnathon Dallas Hobgood, Nathan Conway Hobgood, Christopher Darren Hobgood and William Christopher Miller serving as pallbearers. Born Jan. 13, 1975, in Dalton, Ga., she was the daughter of Philemon Johnson Davis Jr. and Emma Denise Sheram Cochran. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, James Dale Hobgood of Moultrie; sons, Zachary Tyler Davis of Moultrie and James Dale Hobgood II of Chatsworth, Ga.; daughters, Ashley Nichole Miller and husband William of Moultrie and Amanda LeeAnn Cordell and husband Jason Nathaniel of Chatsworth, Ga.; a sister, Kristen Saylor and husband James of Chatsworth, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.
