Michael Canady

Michael David Canady, 69, of Omega, passed away, Thursday, August 18, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 21, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. A private family interment will be held at Omega City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Born on August 2, 1953, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Nettie Katherine Fletcher Canady and the late Roy Lamar Canady. He was a home builder, truck driver, and farmer and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Justin Canady.
Mr. Canady is survived by his mother, Nettie Katherine Canady of Lenox; son, Michael Canady and wife Melanie of Lenox; daughters, Wendy Spurlin of Tifton, and Haley Humphrey and husband Jared of Climax; brothers, Ronnie Lamar Canady and wife Teresa of Omega, and Dale Canady and wife Judy of Conyers; grandchildren, Tyler Olivas and wife Cara, Hannah Spurlin, Kierstyn Spurlin, and Daelyn Canady; great-grandchildren, Axel Hernandez, Ivelyn Olivas, Holden Olivas, and Willow Olivas.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
