Michael Ben McKellar NORMAN PARK - Michael Ben Mckellar, 50, died Tuesday, July 7th, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 10, at Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Casketbearers include Cash Lowry, Jake Ray, T.J. McKellar, Avery McKellar, Scott Miller, B.J. McKellar, and honorary casketbearers George Owens and Darrell Kennedy. Interment will follow at Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Worth County. Born in Moultrie on April 6, 1965, he was the son of Ben D. McKellar and Shirley Alexander McKellar, of Norman Park. Mr, McKellar was formerly employed with Movers Plus, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Norman Park. Survivors include one son, Michael Ben "B.J." McKellar, Jr. and wife Marlen, of Statesboro, Ga.; one brother, Terry McKellar, of Norman Park, Ga.; three sisters, Kay Lowry, Vicki Kennedy and husband Darrell, of Norman Park, Ga., and Suzanne Ray and husband Tim, of Ellijay, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be July 9, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
