Mickey Rae Beason Spires, 70, of Rockmart, Georgia, formally of Norman Park, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at her residence.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Cool Springs Church Cemetery with Pastor. Greg Roberts officiating.
Mrs. Spires was born on March 11, 1950, in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Albert Luster Beason and Lottie Belle Chatham Beason.
She worked at Riverside Manufacturing Company as a seamstress and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Spires of Rockmart; son, Phillip Spires and wife Julie of Moultrie; daughter, Rena Hames and husband Tom of Rockmart; sisters, Sharon Hall and husband Donnie of Moultrie, and Gail Young and husband Jimmy of Doerun; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
