Mildred Gynola "Gyn" Boozer

Mildred Gynola "Gyn" Hendrix Boozer, 92, of Moultrie, died Friday, September 21, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday September24, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in Oakdale Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Hancock, David Mims, Billy Howell, Darrell Thompson, Randy Gay and Gary Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Sunday School Class of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Born on September 13, 1926 in Banks County Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Loy Hendrix and Mary Voncile Williamson Hendrix. She was a Cosmetologist for 74 years and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar "Dayton" Boozer; son, Scott Boozer; daughter, Prissy Boozer; great grandson, Carter "Bubba" Boozer; brothers, Calvin and William Hendrix; and sisters, Jeannette H. Kidd and Doris H. King.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Boozer and wife Nancy of Crossville, TN, Randy Boozer and wife Peggy, Joey Boozer, Craig Boozer and wife Jan, all of Moultrie; sisters, Sara H. Taylor, Ruth H. Poole and husband Jerry of Rutledge, GA; grandchildren, Matt Boozer of Covington, Ragan B. Ringsrud and husband Knute of Kennesaw, Kerri Boozer of Winston-Salem, NC; Jennifer Baggett Braswell of Tallahassee, Fl; great grandchildren, Kati Boozer, Caroline and Mason Ringsrud, Tayte and Rylee Braswell, six nieces and 3 nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 Sunday September 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
