Minnis Lee Vickers, Jr. MOULTRIE - Minnis Lee Vickers, Jr., 65, of Moultrie, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at his residence. Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dwight Marshall and the Rev. Danny Moree officiating. Interment will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Jonathan Vickers, Blaine Walden, Jason Sutton, Jeremy Sutton, Chad Hodges, and Nicholas Hodges. Born on January 13, 1950, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Minnis Lee Vickers, Sr. & Eloise Adams Vickers . He was a retired farmer and a member of Buck Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Eula May Vickers of Moultrie; son, John Vickers of Moultrie; brother, Tommy Vickers and wife, Wanda, of Ellenton; grandchild, Jonathan Vickers; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Leanna Vickers Linsky of California. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Moultrie Colquitt County Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
