Myrtle Lee Moye (PICTURE) NORMAN PARK Myrtle Lee Moye, 79, of Norman Park, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 27, at Norman Park Methodist Church with the Rev. Al Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Deep Bottom Cemetery with Anthony Smith, Richard Smith, C.J. Everson, Marcos de Jesus, Kerry Smith, Kenny Hannon, Tony Garrick and Delbert Morse serving as pallbearers. Born Dec. 4, 1934, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. Wright and Annie Irene Weeks Wright. She was retired from Harvey Hubbell and was a member of Norman Park Methodist Church. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother, her family remarked of her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Moye; a brother Edward Eugene Wright and a sister Mary Lee Patterson. Survivors include daughters, Sandra M. Smith and husband Wayne of Leesburg, Ga., and Patricia M. Martinez of Norman Park; a brother, John L. Griffin and wife Linda of Oakland, Md.; sisters, Annie Mae Hall of Omega and Sara G. Thompson of Moultrie; grandchildren, Anthony Smith and wife Diana of Norman Park, Heather Everson of Albany, Ga., Kerry Smith of Sylvester, Ga., and Kristina Martinez of Norman Park; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Smith, Richard Smith, Tiffany Smith, Eliana Smith, Emily Everson and C.J. Everson. Visitation will on Thursday, Dec. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at 718 Moye Road. Baker Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
