Ollie Joseph "O. J." Stanfill MOULTRIE - Ollie Joseph "O. J." Stanfill, 79, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, in Valdosta. Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m., at China Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Tillman officiating. Interment will following at China Grove Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Eric Paulo, Tristan Paulo, Rusty Roland, Jay Roland, Joey Meads, and Junior Meads. Born on Sept. 22, 1936, in Moultrie, he was the son of Joseph Gordon Stanfill & Ollie Bass Stanfill. He retired from Dinwiddie Construction and the Carpenters Union in San Francisco, Calif., was a member of China Grove Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Stanfill; brothers, Gene Stanfill, James Stanfill, John Stanfill, Paul Stanfill, Robert Stanfill, and Joseph Chester "Check" Stanfill; and sisters, Carrie Dean, Grace Roland, and Ollie Mae Johnson. Survivors include his son, Donn Stanfill and wife, Melody, of Valdosta; daughters, Marion Mitchell and husband Warren, of Sacramento, Calif., and Theresa M. Stanfill of Sacramento, Calif.; sisters, Annette Meads of Norman Park and Annie Eual Mashburn of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Gladys Stanfill, Christine Stanfill, and Jeanette Stanfill, all of Moultrie; daughter-in-law, Stacy Stanfill of Sacramento, Calif.; grandchildren, James Mitchell, Joel Mitchell, Chrissy Stanfill, Nicole Lipscomb, Taylor Stanfill, Eric Paulo, Tristan Paulo, and Mia Stanfill; and great-grandchildren, Quentin Lipscomb, Lexie Lipscomb, and Brayden Mitchell.
