Rev. Omar Stanely Hancock MOULTRIE - Rev. Omar Stanley Hancock, 77, of Moultrie, died July 10, 2015, at Archbold Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., Sunday, July 12, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Puckett and the Rev. Glenn Jordon officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Born in Funston on September 13, 1937, he was a son of the late Sidney Hancock and Stella Mae Horne Hancock. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and self employed in construction. He was preceeded in death by one brother, Gene Hancock; and one sister, Saletta Stewart. Survivors include his wife Sybil Gunn Hancock, of Moultrie, Ga.; sons, Terry Hancock and wife, Monica, of Jacksonville, Fla., Mark Hancock and wife, Penny, of Tifton, Ga., Jeffrey Hancock and wife, Kelly, of Tampa, Fla., and Ryan Hancock and Allie Clayton, of Moultrie, Ga.; one daughter, Lisa Hancock Vaughn, of Norman Park, Ga.; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
