Omie Bell Blount Ethridge (photo) LENOX Omie Bell Blount Ethridge, 87, of Lenox died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Cook Senior Living. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Leila United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will be in Leila church cemetery. Casketbearers will be William Taylor Ethridge, Christopher Moore, Randy Rowan Darren Tyler, Michael Tyler, Chris Tyler and Josh Newcomb. Born Jan. 16, 1926, in Lenox, she was the daughter of the late Ansel Blount and the late Jeannie Moore Blount. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Ethridge; a daughter, Linda Ethridge; a brother, Pete Tyler; and a sister, Agnes Harrod Baker. Survivors include two sons, Leon "Bubby" Ethridge of Adel, Bobby Ethridge and wife Jackie of Lenox; grandchildren William Ethridge, Robylyn Moore and husband Christopher, Randy Rowan, Maranda Lawson, Candace Newcomb and husband Josh, and Amber Fuhrman; 12 great-grandchildren.
