Orena Floyd Lynch MARIETTA Orena Floyd Lynch, 86, of Marietta, formerly of Moultrie, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at HCR Manor Care in Marietta. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Crosland Baptist Church Cemetery. Born Oct. 25, 1925, in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Hendrix Floyd Sr. and Leila Belle Simpson. She was a retired medical transcriptionist at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother, her family remembered of her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin "Hoss" Hawkins Lynch; and a grandson, Michael Alexander Lynch. Survivors include sons, Daniel "Danny" Lynch and wife Nita of Leesburg, Ga., and Michael Lynch and wife Sam of Marietta, Ga.; daughters, Kathy Hayes and husband Robert of Nashville, Ga., and June Sarvay and husband Bill of Colonial Heights, Va.; brothers, C.H. "Sonny" Floyd Jr. and wife Caroline of Colquitt, Ga., and William "Bill" Floyd and wife Gail of Graceville, Fla.; sister, Rebecca "Becky" Vick of Auburn, Ga.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
