Othell R. Morris MOULTRIE Othell R. Morris, 95, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Cleston Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born Jan. 15, 1918, in Tift County, Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Issac Jasper Rooks and Nancy Jane Mullis Rooks. She was a retired seamstress from Riverside Manufacturing and member of Bridge Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Hartsfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Dewey Morris; a son, Jimmie Morris; two daughters, Janie Clements and Bettye Klutz; three brothers, Ernest Rooks, Vertis Rooks and John Henry Rooks; a sister, Flora Mae Harrell; and a grandson, Greg Klutz. Survivors include a son, Royce Morris and wife Barbara of Duluth, Ga.; grandchildren Linda Flynn, Patty Strahan, Bob Clements Jr., Terry Clements, Jerry Clements, Johnny Clements, Beverly Burns, Cindy Wortham, Alan Klutz, Gayle Rose, Nancy East, Michael Morris, Jacqueline Thompson, Jimmie Morris Jr., Donnie Morris and Tony Morris; 31 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
