Ottis Edward Henderson

Ottis Edward Henderson, 91, of Norman Park, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, November 5, 2017 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Marlon Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery in Norman Park. Pallbearers will be Dale Wright, Charles Wright, Bo Sweat, Arnold Dell, Michael Chafin, Jeremy Rivers, and Brandon Jarvis. Born May 16, 1926 in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Elmer Henderson and Della Ofelya Murphy Henderson. He was a Retired Farmer and a member of Cool Springs Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Bertha Lynell White Henderson; brothers, Tim Henderson, Pete Henderson, Claude Henderson, Floyd Henderson; sisters, Ethel Blackburn, Sue Beamus, and Birdie Holden. Survivors include his sons, Ted Henderson and wife Jane of Moultrie, Terry Henderson of Irving, Texas; daughter, Patricia Diane Adams and husband Donald, of Norman Park; 7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 6pm-8pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
