Patricia Keele Singletary, 72 of Moultrie, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., today, March 8, at First Baptist Church of Moultrie with the Rev. Wayne Woods and the Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Keishiro Yamada, Eisa Yamada, Nikko Yamada, Taylor Cooper, Bo Yarbrough, Zack Singletary, Cody Land and Scott Yarbrough serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Faith Sunday School Class. Born Aug. 17, 1939, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Willene Hazel Thompson Roberts. She was a retired director of the Colquitt County Health Department and a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moultrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Q. Singletary; her grandmother, Sabie Goff Brightwell; and a grandchild, Rob Singletary. Survivors include a son, Robert Oliver Keele Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; daughters, Ursula Keele Yamada and husband Yoshiro of Newnan, Ga., and Erika Keele Cooper and fiancé Scottie Sinclair of Moultrie; step-children, Sharon Gurr and husband Lee of Tallahassee, Fla., Roger Singletary and wife Anne of Washington, Ga., Rick Singletary and wife Karen of McDonough, Ga., Vicky Yarbrough and husband David of Moultrie and Kim Land of Moultrie; one brother; four sisters; grandchildren, Keishiro, Eisa and Nikko Yamada, Taylor and Johanna Cooper, Shannon Mayfield, Amy, Zack, Jana and Blake Singletary, Scott, Bo and Brandy Yarbrough, and Cody and Callie Land; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, at the funeral home. The family maybe contacted at 4867 Tallokas Rd., in Moultrie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
